Fantastic Opportunity for Data Center Professionals

We are collaborating with a dynamic and rapidly expanding private equity company that currently has around $30 billion in assets. They have acquired multiple sites that are ready for the construction of data center campuses.

As a Data Center Project Manager, you will work on an exciting multi-site data center project in a department going from strength to strength. You will be responsible for coordinating with acquisition-focused team members in assessing viability of potential properties, including management of 3rd party due diligence consultants.

In partnership with stakeholders, including strategy, design, and construction teams, you will create a master development program for site(s), including entitlement schedule, complete campus design solution & schedule, and capital budget.

You will oversee and manage zoning, entitlement, and permitting process, including any specialty permitting requirements, in alignment with the project schedule. Work closely with acquisitions, development, and management teams for milestone reporting and issue escalation.

Manage, direct, and coordinate teams of architectural, structural, civil, MEP consultants along with required specialty consultants and internal SMEs to develop and issue complete data center design packages in accordance with internal and tenant specifications and standards and all applicable code and regularity requirements.

Coordinate feasibility, cost, and schedule with utilities for infrastructure needed for the site.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years as a project manager either in a real estate, construction or consulting environment
  • Experience with Project Management tools
  • Ability to work in a client facing environment and engage effectively with internal teams
  • Experience with Excel modelling
  • Data Center experience
  • Additional qualifications, but not required
  • Experience in site selection
  • Experience in construction project management
  • Financial modelling experience
