The Applied Research Laboratory at Penn State University is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented undergraduate student to work in the IT Services department. As a Technical Support Specialist, you will have the opportunity to develop your technical skills while supporting various information technology disciplines.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing end-user support via phone and email
  • Assisting with installation, configuration, testing, maintenance, and support of computing and network hardware and software
  • Developing process and equipment documentation
  • Contributing to cybersecurity initiatives

This is an excellent opportunity for students studying Information Science and Technology, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering to gain hands-on experience and build their professional portfolio.

Salary: $12-$15 per hour (estimated 20 hours/week)
