Diagnostic Imaging Specialist Job Description

MedPro Healthcare Allied Staffing, a Joint Commission certified provider of contract staffing services, is seeking an experienced diagnostic imaging specialist to work in State College, Pennsylvania.

**Job Overview**

We are looking for a skilled MRI technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating MRI scanners, assisting in the diagnosis of disease and injury, and ensuring the safety of patients and staff.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Operate MRI scanners and related equipment to produce high-quality images
  • Position patients and coils on the table to ensure accurate imaging
  • Inject contrast media as required to enhance image quality
  • Set technical parameters and observe image data during scans
  • Recognize and respond to life-threatening situations
  • Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations

**Requirements:**

  • Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology
  • Valid state radiology registration
  • Eighteen months of MRI experience preferred
  • Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology

Estimated Salary Range: $120,000 - $150,000 per year (dependent on experience)
