Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Advanced Test Automation Specialist to join our team at Blue Mountain Quality Resources, LLC. This role will play a crucial part in ensuring the high quality of our asset management software for the Life Sciences industry.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with Software Engineers and Architects to establish code and path coverage targets for automated testing, utilizing tools like testomat.io or similar to provide visibility into code and path coverage metrics.
  • Work with QA, Engineering, and Product Management teams to assess and set test coverage targets for all test types.
  • Develop and implement testing strategies suitable for software and services under test, focusing on microservice container-based SaaS solutions.
  • Evaluate and provide recommendations to Software Engineering teams to improve the testability of resulting code products.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Science degree preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • At least six years of experience in Test Engineering roles.
  • Strong technical background in automation and infrastructure as code.
  • Experience leading and mentoring engineers.
  • Excellent ability to explain complex technical concepts to all levels of experience.
  • Fluency in scripting languages such as Python.
  • Exceptional collaboration skills with various functional areas.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Playwright, JMeter, Postman/Newman, GHA GitHub Actions.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and various testing approaches (White/Grey/Black box, etc.).
  • Understanding of Functional Testing, Unit Testing, and Static Analysis processes.
  • OWASP Verification expertise.
  • Testing experience with various endpoints (Mobile, Browser, API, Cloud, etc.).
  • Azure DevOps knowledge.
