The RV Paint & Body Technician plays a crucial role in mending, rejuvenating, and repainting damaged recreational vehicles. A comprehensive understanding of various body construction types and proficiency in utilizing diverse tools and materials to restore vehicles to their pristine condition is essential.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate damaged RVs and determine the necessary repairs.
  • Utilize a range of tools and materials, including hammers, grinders, and welding equipment, to repair RV body damage.
  • Replace or mend damaged components such as windows, doors, and trim.
  • Prepare, prime, and paint repaired sections to ensure a seamless match with the RV's existing finish.
  • Conduct tests on repaired systems to verify proper functionality.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of tools and equipment.

Required Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in RV or automotive body repair is preferred.
  • Familiarity with various RV body construction methods.
  • Expertise in handling a variety of tools and materials, including hammers, grinders, and welding equipment.
  • Understanding of paint mixing and matching techniques.
  • Ability to maintain good physical condition, including lifting heavy equipment and standing for extended periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and a dedication to delivering high-quality work.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Work Environment:

  • Work is primarily conducted on-site at the service facility.
  • May involve prolonged periods of standing, walking, and bending.
  • May require lifting or relocating heavy equipment or objects.
  • May involve working in confined spaces or at elevated heights.
  • Exposure to loud noises, fumes, or chemicals may occur.
  • Work hours may include weekends or holidays.
