Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate damaged RVs and determine the necessary repairs.
  • Utilize an array of tools and materials, including hammers, grinders, and welding equipment, to repair RV body damage.
  • Replace or mend damaged components such as windows, doors, and trim.
  • Prepare, prime, and paint repaired sections to seamlessly blend with the RV's existing finish.
  • Conduct tests on repaired systems to ensure proper functionality.
  • Maintain and organize tools and equipment to ensure optimal performance.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in RV or automotive body repair is preferred.
  • Understanding of various RV body construction methods.
  • Proficient in the use of tools and materials including hammers, grinders, and welding equipment.
  • Familiarity with paint mixing and matching techniques.
  • Good physical fitness with the ability to lift heavy items and stand for long periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and a dedication to delivering high-quality work.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.

Working Conditions:

  • Work primarily takes place on-site at the service facility.
  • May involve extended periods of standing, walking, and bending.
  • May require lifting or moving heavy equipment or materials.
  • May involve working in confined spaces or at elevated heights.
  • May expose the technician to loud noises, fumes, or chemicals.
  • May require working on weekends or holidays.
