A solid understanding of various body construction methods and proficiency in utilizing an array of tools and materials are essential for returning vehicles to their pristine condition.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate damaged RVs to determine the necessary repairs.
- Utilize various tools and materials, including hammers, grinders, and welding equipment, to mend RV body damage.
- Repair or replace damaged components such as windows, doors, and trim.
- Prepare and paint repaired sections to seamlessly blend with the RV's existing finish.
- Conduct tests on repaired systems to confirm proper functionality.
- Maintain cleanliness and functionality of tools and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Experience in RV or automotive body repair is preferred.
- Familiarity with different RV body construction types.
- Proficient in the use of various repair tools and materials.
- Understanding of paint mixing and matching techniques.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy items and standing for long periods.
- Strong attention to detail and dedication to delivering high-quality work.
- Must possess and maintain a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
Working Conditions:
- Work primarily takes place on-site at the service facility.
- Job may require prolonged periods of standing, walking, and bending.
- May involve lifting or moving heavy equipment or objects.
- Work may be conducted in confined spaces or at elevated heights.
- Exposure to loud noises, fumes, or chemicals may occur.
- Flexibility to work weekends or holidays may be required.
