Cumulus Media is a leading audio company that offers a unique opportunity for a Business Development Representative to join our team. As a key member of our Multi-Media Sales Team, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, growing existing client relationships, and delivering effective digital sales presentations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify client business needs and develop customized advertising solutions to meet client objectives.
  • Prospect and aggressively seek new clientele through networking, cold calling, referrals, or other means.
  • Deliver effective digital sales presentations using Cumulus' robust digital decks, data, and research.
  • Build and maintain a full pipeline of sales prospects and follow up on leads.
  • Stay up-to-date with the competitive digital landscape and emerging technologies to best position Cumulus in the marketplace.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of successful outside sales experience required; exposure to Media Sales preferred.
  • Understanding of lead generation and ability to connect with viable prospects.
  • Strong sales acumen and proficiency in all phases of the sales cycle, outbound phone sales, and new account development.
  • Ability to gain referral business by providing support, information, qualitative research, and recommending new opportunities for profit and/or service improvements.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience developing new business relationships in an outside-sales role.
  • Tech-savvy - working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite programs and CRM tools/software platforms.
  • Positive attitude and passion for the job.
