Reporting Structure

The selected candidate will report directly to the Director of External Affairs and Business Strategy, receiving guidance while adhering to established protocols.

Key Responsibilities

Essential Duties:

  1. Contribute to the organization's mission by assisting in the creation and implementation of both traditional and digital marketing strategies.
  2. Enhance the organization's image by curating and managing content across various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, and LinkedIn. Optimize profiles to boost visibility and engage creatively with our audience.
  3. Support the Director by designing marketing collateral such as flyers, brochures, and newsletters, while also providing administrative assistance and facilitating campaign analysis.
  4. Manage website content, ensuring timely updates to blogs and other sections, while overseeing web analytics and reporting tools.
  5. Execute projects with professionalism, responding promptly to design requests and seizing immediate opportunities.
  6. Moderate user-generated content to maintain a positive online environment.
  7. Develop editorial calendars and manage publishing schedules to serve our audience effectively.
  8. Conduct public relations activities, including maintaining media contacts and crafting press releases.
  9. Oversee email marketing initiatives for newsletters and promotional campaigns.
  10. Assist in the preparation of presentations.
  11. Foster customer satisfaction by generating and sharing engaging content that builds meaningful connections.
  12. Uphold confidentiality and ethical standards, ensuring the organization's reputation is maintained.
  13. Collaborate with the Director to review critical incidents and policy exceptions.
  14. Build positive relationships with colleagues through effective communication and problem-solving.
  15. Enhance professional knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and networking within the industry.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A BA/BS Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a marketing role.
  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic environment with shifting priorities.
  • Experience in creating business social media content and a solid understanding of SEO.
  • Hands-on experience in campaign development and marketing communications.
  • Strong organizational skills with a focus on meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and MS Office Suite.
  • Experience with WordPress and digital marketing strategies.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining attention to detail.
