Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Marketing Communications Generalist to join our team at RabbitTransit. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and organizing the flow of MarComm projects through the marketing system, tracking details, and ensuring deadlines are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain all aspects of social media, including responding to inquiries, moderating comments, messages, and reviews, creating and implementing the monthly schedule, and setting up, overseeing, and tracking all social ad campaigns.
  • Write, edit, and proofread various types of content, including material for websites, press releases, marketing materials, and other types of content that take the message to the public.
  • Perform public relations tasks, including maintaining media and partner contacts and drafting press releases.
  • Compile metrics and reporting data for the MarComm Department.
  • Moderate all user-generated content.
  • Help develop, design, and track internal marketing materials, such as employee memos, flyers, posters, and electronic boards, and assist with making edits to WordPress websites.
  • Assist in media planning and buying for the MarComm Department.
  • Collaborate with Human Resources to organize various staff engagement initiatives and events in coordination with the Executive Assistant.
  • Drive business development activity across all service areas, seeking out opportunities for strategic partnerships and collaboration, and reviewing service and community transportation needs to identify innovative ideas to access new markets.
  • Lead efforts to foster a positive image and increase public and community support for public transportation by coordinating and organizing special events, outreach activities, public information programs/campaigns, and conducting presentations to internal and external audiences.
  • Provide information to external audiences regarding available services, qualification criteria, and procedures for using all modes.
  • Preserve historical reference by establishing and maintaining a record-keeping system, documenting procedures and decisions, maintaining required documentation, and ensuring delivery of documents as necessary.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Writing, or a related field.
  • A minimum of five to seven years of marketing experience in a professional setting.
  • Ability to prioritize numerous tasks, work under pressure, and adapt to changing types of Authority customers and services provided by the Authority.
  • Energetic, upbeat, team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter, capable of identifying problems within own area of responsibility and taking action to correct them and forward others to proper areas for resolution.
  • Manage and monitor special assignments, possess excellent attention to detail and follow-through, and possess a pro-company attitude and a willingness to attend work-related training and education programs.
  • Certificates and Licenses Required: Must possess a valid motor vehicle operator's license that is not under suspension or revocation, and possess current automobile insurance coverage.
