Position Overview

The Veterinary Operations Supervisor will oversee the daily activities at our veterinary facilities, ensuring the highest standards of care and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:


1. **Animal Handling and Care**: Responsible for the safe restraint and triage of incoming patients, ensuring their comfort and well-being.
2. **Laboratory Duties**: Collect and analyze laboratory samples to assist in diagnostics.
3. **Imaging and Diagnostics**: Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures as needed.
4. **Patient Management**: Provide management and nursing care for medical and hospitalized cases, adapting to varying levels of patient stability.
5. **Medication Administration**: Administer medications as prescribed and monitor patient responses.
6. **Client Communication**: Effectively communicate treatment plans and updates to clients, fostering a trusting relationship.
7. **Surgical Support**: Prepare for and assist in surgical procedures, ensuring all protocols are followed.
8. **Anesthetic Oversight**: Manage anesthetic protocols during surgical procedures.
9. **Team Development**: Mentor and train staff, promoting professional growth and excellence in veterinary technology.

This role requires resilience to withstand various odors and sounds typical in a veterinary environment. Exposure to animal behavior, waste, and potential health risks is inherent to the position.
