Pay Rate: $28 - $35/hour
As a Procurement Specialist, your responsibilities will include:
- Streamlining and enhancing the acquisition of materials with our vendors by adhering to the SPS principles.
- Overseeing logistical strategies such as batch size, lead time, packaging, ABC/FMR analysis, and inventory management policies.
- Ensuring precision and analysis of supplier forecasts.
- Evaluating and enhancing upstream supply chain efficiency by reviewing KPIs and spearheading projects to optimize resources.
- Leading initiatives for continuous improvement.
- Managing corrective and preventive measures to address upstream supply chain challenges (e.g., surplus inventory, supplier on-time delivery, Kanban card analysis).
- Escalating critical supplier concerns to senior management.
- Guaranteeing quality and consistency of essential supply and inventory management parameters (e.g., Replenishment Lead Time, Quantity, Frequency, Stocking policy).
Specific Position Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Operations, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in scheduling/planning.
- Proficient in analyzing data, trends, and metrics to inform decision-making.
- Skilled user of Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
This is a Full Time, Contract opportunity with Innova Solutions.
