The Senior Manager of Engineering is tasked with overseeing the various facets of engineering and reliability functions within the organization. This position entails guiding a team of engineers and support personnel to guarantee the smooth operation of machinery, facilities, and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute detailed plans and timelines to assure the dependable functioning of machinery, equipment, and facilities, which includes managing spare parts inventory and setting minimum order levels.
  • Offer engineering assistance for diagnosing equipment problems, determining root causes of failures, and applying effective solutions to enhance performance.
  • Ensure adherence to all pertinent regulatory standards, industry norms, and organizational policies concerning maintenance, engineering, and safety.
  • Design and implement reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) strategies aimed at improving asset performance, prolonging equipment lifespan, and minimizing maintenance expenses.
  • Keep precise records, documentation, and reporting systems for maintenance activities, including work orders, equipment histories, maintenance logs, and performance metrics.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Chemical Engineering is mandatory.
  • Over 8 years of experience in reliability and engineering roles within a chemical manufacturing environment or similar industry, with a minimum of 4 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Thorough understanding of maintenance and reliability principles, methodologies, and tools.
  • Proficient in maintenance management software (e.g., CMMS).
  • Strong grasp of chemical manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Awareness of regulatory standards and safety protocols in the chemical sector.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
