Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute detailed plans and timelines to assure the dependable operation of machinery, equipment, and facilities, which includes managing spare part inventories and setting minimum order levels.
  • Offer engineering assistance for diagnosing equipment malfunctions, determining root causes of failures, and deploying efficient solutions to enhance performance.
  • Ensure adherence to all pertinent regulatory mandates, industry benchmarks, and organizational policies concerning maintenance, engineering, and safety.
  • Devise and apply reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) strategies aimed at boosting asset performance, prolonging equipment lifespan, and minimizing maintenance expenditures.
  • Keep precise records, documentation, and reporting systems for maintenance operations, encompassing work orders, equipment histories, maintenance logs, and performance indicators.

Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Chemical Engineering is essential.
  • Over 8 years of experience in reliability and engineering roles within a chemical manufacturing environment or similar industry, with a minimum of 4 years in a leadership capacity.
  • Thorough understanding of maintenance and reliability concepts, methodologies, and tools.
  • Competence in utilizing maintenance management software (e.g., CMMS).
  • Solid grasp of chemical manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Awareness of regulatory standards and safety protocols in the chemical sector.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Capacity to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
