Job Title:
Central Region Sales Manager

Job Summary:
The Central Region Sales Manager will be responsible for driving sales growth and managing customer relationships within the Central Region. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills and a proven track record in industrial sales management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the Central Region.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and timely resolution of issues.
  • Actively market and generate specifications from end-user customers.
  • Establish and conduct product demonstration and evaluation sites.
  • Conduct regular business reviews, demonstrations, and training with distributor customers to ensure alignment and identify growth opportunities.

Rep Management:

  • Utilize a team of external manufacturer's representatives to drive regional sales growth.
  • Provide coaching and product training to enhance the manufacturer's reps' skills and performance.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented team culture.

Market Expansion:

  • Identify and evaluate new market opportunities and partnerships within the Central Region.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking activities to promote the company's products and brand.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field; an MBA is preferred.
  • Minimum of seven years of sales experience, with at least three years in a sales management role of manufacturer's representatives.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong leadership/management of external resources to get work done.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to travel within the Central Region as required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
