Job Title: Regional Sales Manager

Walker Products is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth in the Central and Eastern Regions of the US.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Sell premium priced, best-in-class products to customers within the automotive wholesale distribution and retail channels.
  • Develop new business and build a base of business among potential new customers.
  • Profiling and objectively assessing sales opportunities resulting in high sales close rates among new and existing customers.
  • Possess business acumen to successfully position company's superior products and services.
  • Practices strong process discipline with an ability to manage documented pipeline development activities to effectively balance new and existing account time/activities.
  • Maintains strong knowledge of all company products, services, and application and is capable of effectively presenting/demonstrating products to decision-making management and company's distribution partners.
  • Use CRM tools to document individual sales activities and communicate new and existing customer sales opportunities.
  • Communicates with and participates in forecasting to Product Management to ensure adequate inventory is available.
  • Regularly communicate with Customer Service Department personnel.
Requirements:
  • Experience within the Automotive Aftermarket required and a background in engine management components.
  • A strong understanding and background selling to buying group WD's, national accounts, and retailers are required.
  • Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
  • Willingness to travel and work in a global team of professionals.
  • Proven track record of leadership and ability to drive sales.
  • Strong communication skills/dynamic leadership skills.
  • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
