Key Responsibilities Include:
  • Customer Service

Customer service is always the top priority.

  • Greet each customer warmly.
  • Identify customer needs by asking, "What project are you working on today?" Utilize engaging questions to recommend suitable products.
  • Surpass customer expectations by guiding them to products and suggesting additional items that may assist in completing their project.
  • Build rapport with customers by learning and using their names during interactions.
  • Express gratitude to customers for choosing Ace Hardware.

Operational Procedures:
Participate in all training initiatives.
Learn to sell comprehensive project solutions. Develop product knowledge and promote add-on sales.

Be adept at executing all store services, including mixing paint, cutting glass, and re-keying locks.

Maintain inventory levels, including warehouse and back stock.

Be vigilant for potential shoplifting and adhere to store protocols when such activities are suspected.

Ensure safety standards are met and maintain cleanliness in merchandising.

Engage in customer interaction initiatives and promote the Ace Rewards program.
