Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced FPGA Engineering Lead to spearhead our development efforts in cutting-edge Lidar technology. This role requires a strong background in FPGA design and development, ensuring high-quality deliverables that meet industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and implementation of FPGA solutions for advanced Lidar systems.
  • Oversee HDL code development, simulation, and test bench creation to ensure optimal performance.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards such as ISO 26262 and ASIL-B.
  • Utilize your expertise in RTL development with Verilog and SystemVerilog to drive project success.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate FPGA designs with embedded systems.
  • Implement DSP algorithms effectively within FPGA architectures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in FPGA development.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, TCL, Perl, or bash.
  • Experience with Xilinx and/or Client FPGA toolchains.
  • Familiarity with various communication protocols including DDR4, AXI, I2C, UART, SPI, and Ethernet.

Desirable Skills:

  • Knowledge of High-Level Synthesis (HLS) methodologies.
  • Experience with version control systems, particularly git.
  • Proficiency in C or C++ programming languages.
  • Understanding of advanced verification methodologies such as UVM.
