We are seeking an experienced FPGA Engineering Lead to oversee and drive our FPGA development initiatives within the Lidar design and manufacturing sector. This role is crucial for ensuring the successful implementation of advanced FPGA solutions that meet our high standards of quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of FPGA architectures, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Manage HDL code development, simulation, and test bench creation to guarantee robust performance.
  • Oversee synthesis and timing closure processes, optimizing for efficiency and reliability.
  • Implement safety concepts in accordance with ISO 26262 and ASIL-B standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate FPGA solutions into embedded systems.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in FPGA development, with a strong focus on RTL development using Verilog and SystemVerilog.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, TCL, Perl, or bash.
  • Hands-on experience with Xilinx and/or Client FPGA toolchains.
  • Familiarity with DSP algorithm implementations and various communication protocols including DDR4, AXI, I2C, UART, SPI, and Ethernet.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with High Level Synthesis (HLS) methodologies.
  • Knowledge of version control systems, particularly git.
  • Proficiency in C or C++ programming languages.
  • Understanding of leading verification methodologies, such as UVM.
