Key Responsibilities- Client Support
- Maintain accurate client information to provide day-to-day client support and address intermediate-level client inquiries while delivering exceptional customer care.
- Assist in the development of strong business relationships with insurance carrier personnel, recognizing and satisfying carrier goals and objectives to enhance business relationships.
- Account Management
- Maintain files with proper records according to company procedures, following company procedures to achieve positive audit results.
- Ensure accuracy of account information for new and renewal policies in accordance with client requests, processing change requests and endorsement checking, addressing proper exposures for policy rating, completing coverage reviews and gap analysis, and accurately transacting agency bill policies.
- Review all accounts receivable and policy cancellation notices according to Agency procedures, recognizing that the Agency must process in a timely manner.
- Monitor renewal premium increases for remarketing based on the agency's retention strategies.
- Secure documentation needed to be retained by the agency, including signed applications, replacement cost estimates, rejection of coverage, and confirmation of orders.
- Insurance Expertise
- Leverage technical knowledge to ensure carrier quotes are received in a timely fashion, reviewing quotes for gaps and assisting with inquiries from the carrier.
- Attend training and seek self-directed learning to continue education in industry and technical knowledge.
- Other Duties
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.

- 16 hours of paid time off per calendar year for volunteering and giving back to the community.
- A Monday-to-Friday schedule with no nights or weekends.
- 10 paid holidays and 2 floating holidays per year.
- 1-3 years of experience in a Florida Personal Lines Broker setting.
- Florida Property and Casualty License (2044 or 220 required to work remotely, 440 license must work on-site).
- Working knowledge of available state of Florida personal lines coverages based on business and industry.
- Proficient in providing client service through electronic, telephone, and in-person interaction.
- Problem-solving skills, strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficient in the use of Agency Management software or demonstrated skill at quickly learning new systems.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office or similar software, including spreadsheet and presentation software.
- Bilingual - Spanish preferred.
