Pre-Admission Clinical Nurse Job Overview

Under the supervision of the Pre-Op Nurse Manager and Clinical Director, the Pre-Admission Clinical Nurse is responsible for performing thorough patient evaluations prior to their admission. This role involves collecting comprehensive medical histories and collaborating closely with surgical teams and anesthesia professionals. The successful candidate will ideally possess 1-2 years of experience in outpatient surgical settings or pre-admission evaluations.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
Desirable Experience:
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in conducting telephonic patient assessments
Licensure & Certifications:
  • Registered Nurse licensure in the State of Texas
  • Current BLS certification
