About the Role

Konnect Resources, LLC is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Training and Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for creating and implementing corporate curriculum courses and events, developing digital content, and managing the administration of our Learning Management System (LMS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Curriculum Development
    • Establish clear learning objectives for each course.
    • Develop curriculum content based on the learning objectives of each course.
    • Determine the best methods for effectively communicating information in a manner that appeals to all three learning styles (visual, auditory, kinesthetic).
    • Translate concepts into effective lessons.
  • Digital Content Development
    • Create various forms of digital content, including videos and presentations.
    • Select and match soundtracks with videos to effectively communicate messages.
  • Project Management
    • Build systems and workflows to manage our digital content writing and revision process.
    • Monitor timelines, schedules, and budgets by keeping our project management system up to date.
    • Support the HR Manager, writers, and contractors with the organization and completion of content writing and revision.
    • Learn and understand the content management system (LMS) and other technology tools used for content creation. Train others to use the systems and ensure the system continues to meet our needs.
    • Manage versions of the curriculum units as they are revised. Track copyright, authorship, and permissions.
  • LMS Administration
    • Manage the administration of the LMS.
    • Structure and administer the management reporting process.
    • Provide monthly reviews and reports.
    • Monitor employee and customer participation to ensure training/compliance requirements are met.
  • Class Coordination
    • Schedule, assist, and coordinate all employee/customer classes (virtual and in-person).
    • Operate cameras, mics, and all production aspects of virtual sessions (webinars).
    • Reconcile class participation with class registration and ensure proper credit is given.
    Requirements
    • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Teams, Planner, OneNote, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
    • Advanced understanding of storyboarding, project management, and course creation tools (Articulate).
    • Proficiency in LMS Technology, LMS365 experience is a plus.
    • Proficiency in video editing software, AI tools, and other content creation software.
    • Previous teaching/training/presenting experience.
    • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to multi-task with multiple priorities and deadlines.
    Required Qualifications
    • Minimum of 2-5 years (or equivalent) experience designing, developing, and implementing a variety of training programs using instructor-led, web-based, or virtual training methods.
    • Knowledge and aptitude in using various types of technology in the training environment.
    • Ability to operate independently and within a team environment.
    • Ability to develop and launch training information in a fast-paced environment.
