ResponsibilitiesThe Licensed Vocational Nurse/Licensed Psychiatric Technician delivers both direct and indirect patient care services that require technical and manual skills, adhering to the scope of practice. This role addresses the psychosocial, physical, and general care needs of patients while fulfilling the communication requirements of both patients and their families. The position operates under the guidance and supervision of a Registered Nurse. A solid understanding of EMTALA Regulations and the triage process in the emergency room setting is essential.
QualificationsEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
1. A current and valid state license as a Licensed Vocational Nurse or Licensed Psychiatric Technician.
2. A current BLS (AHA) certification upon hire, with maintenance of current status.
3. A minimum of one year of experience in a relevant setting is preferred.
La Palma Intercommunity Hospital offers competitive remuneration, with a reasonable compensation estimate for this position being $30.00.
