POSITION SUMMARY:
MSA Professional Services, Inc. is seeking a dedicated Civil Project Coordinator to join our team.
  • Work from any of our various office locations.
In this role, you will engage in projects that positively influence the communities we serve, overseeing them from inception to completion. This position will focus primarily on public sector initiatives related to parks and recreational facilities.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
As a Civil Project Coordinator, your duties will include:

  • Monitoring ongoing construction activities across diverse site designs and municipal infrastructure projects.
  • Executing construction administration tasks, which involve documenting progress, communicating updates to project managers, conducting measurements and tests, providing oversight, and liaising with contractors, subcontractors, residents, and client representatives.
  • Assisting with CAD operations and project cost estimations.
  • Supporting company-wide initiatives that may span various service lines.
  • Preparing plans for roadways, sewer systems, utilities, site development, and recreational areas using Civil3D software.
  • Creating detailed specifications, bidding documents, and regulatory permits for projects.
  • Drafting technical reports related to project developments.
  • Managing project administration tasks, including participation in client meetings.
  • Receiving training and mentorship in project management and client relations.
QUALIFICATIONS:

To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:

  • A Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • A Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in civil engineering.
  • A strong interest in municipal engineering and parks/recreation within the consulting sector.
This position requires authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
