About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civil Engineering Project Manager to join our dynamic team at JT Engineering, Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading projects, demonstrating your expertise, and shaping the trajectory of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Leadership: Set goals, monitor, and implement short and long-term vision for the team as part of the annual business plan.
  • Staff Development: Develop staff through supervising, coaching, mentoring, and training.
  • Project Management: Manage scope, schedule, technical requirements, contractual obligations, client communications, staffing, and budget for the entire project lifecycle, from project pursuit through project delivery.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain client and stakeholder relationships.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively internally and externally.
  • Support and Collaboration: Support staff and colleagues on transportation-related projects.
  • Staffing and Quality Assurance: Assist in determining staffing needs, recruiting, and maintaining a skilled workforce, and administer the JT Quality Assurance process for all projects.
Requirements
  • Education: A Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university; or equivalent years of relevant education and experience.
  • Experience: 10+ years of relevant experience leading projects and managing staff.
  • Licensure: A Professional Engineer (PE) License in the State of Wisconsin or ability to obtain PE (preferred).
  • Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a valid driver's license, and reliable transportation for worksites, client meetings, and conferences.
  • Work Authorization: To be legally authorized to work permanently in the country where this position is located.
  • Travel: To occasionally travel out-of-town and overnight for professional development and/or project-related work.
