Key Skills and Attributes:

  • Proficiency in scheduling appointments, meetings, and conferences.
  • Experience in receiving and evaluating incoming correspondence, directing each item to the appropriate personnel.
  • Ability to manage telephone inquiries and visitors, screening those that can be addressed independently.
  • Competence in maintaining legal and general office documentation.
  • Experience in reviewing, filtering, and managing incoming mail.
  • Skill in searching files for materials utilized in recurring reports, compiling file data or gathering information from staff into the appropriate format based on the report's purpose and nature.
  • Proficiency in producing written documents using various office automation software.
  • Experience utilizing a range of applications to search and retrieve information necessary for task completion:
- e.g., an internal case management database,

- files located on a shared file network, and

- external sources such as court records.

  • Familiarity with established procedures and policies to assist in preparing litigation case files and other records for offsite storage.
- locating and retrieving materials designated for shipment.

- documenting shipment information in an internal case management system.

- organizing physical files into boxes for long-term preservation.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and follow instructions accurately.
  • Understanding of tasks, objectives, and the overall context of litigation support efforts.
  • Initiative to ask questions when necessary to ensure task completion (e.g., when instructions are unclear or seem contradictory to the task objective).
  • Proficient typing/keyboarding skills and effective communication abilities.
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Capability to obtain a favorably adjudicated Public Trust Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Government roles.
