EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS
A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in a relevant Engineering discipline from an accredited institution.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
0-5 years of relevant Engineering experience.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist and support senior engineers in various projects.
- Conduct design evaluations and assess constructability.
- Address technical challenges and oversee information management throughout the design and construction phases of multiple concurrent projects.
- Prepare engineering reports and documentation, including charts and graphs to illustrate findings.
Ability to read and interpret safety guidelines, operational instructions, and procedural manuals. Proficient in writing routine reports and correspondence. Capable of effectively communicating with clients and colleagues.
MATHEMATICAL APTITUDE
Ability to engage with mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical inference, and the fundamentals of geometry and trigonometry. Competence in applying concepts like fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to real-world scenarios.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Occasional field visits to operational plants or construction sites may be required. This involves normal hearing, standing, walking, reaching, climbing, and balancing, as well as clear vision and depth perception. Lifting up to 25 pounds may be necessary.
WORKING CONDITIONS
The typical work environment is an office setting with moderate noise levels. Occasional assignments may involve exposure to outdoor conditions, loud noises, and proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical energy, construction equipment, vibrations, fumes, chemicals, and airborne particles.
