Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the regulatory administration within the ODA (Organizational Designation Authorization) framework.
  • Act as the primary liaison between certification processes and IT systems.
  • Collaborate closely with administrative personnel, program teams, and IT departments.
  • Develop, revise, and maintain certification task instructions, procedures, and policies to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Analyze FAA Orders and regulatory documents, proposing necessary updates to ODA procedures.
  • Facilitate Bell's engagement in the regulatory rulemaking process.
  • Resolve issues related to FAA or ODA identified regulatory non-compliances.
  • Create training materials for non-ODA personnel regarding certification processes.
  • Serve as the main contact for PLM certification support and training initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in aerospace or mechanical engineering; advanced degrees will be considered as additional experience.
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in aerospace engineering.
  • Familiarity with the certification and ODA regulatory landscape, particularly with the FAA.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel and SharePoint.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to build collaborative relationships.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks effectively.
