En este rol, el Coordinador de Capacidad se encarga de la planificación diaria del mercado y del uso efectivo de la capacidad, cumpliendo con los requisitos de servicio al cliente, minimizando costos a través de millas cargadas y maximizando las horas disponibles de los conductores. El Coordinador de Capacidad reporta al Gerente de Planificación Regional de Capacidad.

Funciones Esenciales del Trabajo:

  • Responsable de evaluar soluciones de Optimización de Conductores y asignar cargas a la Capacidad de HGT en cumplimiento con las regulaciones de seguridad federal, tales como las regulaciones federales de "Horas de Servicio", consideraciones geográficas y restricciones de equipo para maximizar la utilización del conductor.
  • Apoya el desarrollo del plan de mercado y es responsable de la ejecución diaria de todas las cargas entrantes y salientes para un territorio geográfico asignado.
  • Replanifica cargas cuando sea necesario debido a retrasos, fallos de equipo o problemas con los conductores.
  • Colabora con Operaciones Intermodales y Optimización de Red para maximizar la utilización de equipos y la productividad de los conductores.
  • Trabaja proactivamente con Operaciones de Terminal, Operaciones Intermodales y Gestión de Cuentas para confirmar la cobertura de capacidad anticipadamente a los requisitos del cliente.
  • Planifica e implementa iniciativas para mejorar la ruta y la utilización de equipos de acuerdo con las expectativas del cliente y las necesidades de la Red.
  • Responsable de cumplir con los métricas establecidas, incluyendo millas cargadas, utilización de conductores, servicio, seguridad y costo por carga.
  • Diariamente, completa y resuelve todos los problemas pendientes de planificación de cargas, o preocupaciones pendientes y comunica efectivamente al equipo de atención fuera de horario.

Calificaciones Mínimas:

  • Se prefiere título universitario de una institución acreditada.
  • Se prefiere de 2 a 3 años de experiencia en operaciones de transporte (carga completa o intermodal).
  • Se prefiere competencia con sistemas de gestión de transporte en un entorno corporativo grande.
  • Fuertes habilidades organizativas, analíticas, de pensamiento crítico y resolución de problemas.
  • Debe ser una persona proactiva y altamente motivada que prospere en un entorno dinámico.
  • Disponibilidad para cobertura de fin de semana en una base rotativa.
