Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team at Alltex Staffing & Personnel. As an Inventory Control Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our inventory management systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the operation of our Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, specifically SAP, to ensure accurate inventory levels and timely material transfers.
  • Coordinate and manage the daily transfer of materials, resolving any discrepancies found in the process.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished goods to ensure that quantities appear accurately in the system.
  • Conduct daily cycle counts of inventory to identify and correct any discrepancies.
  • Analyze inventory for accuracy of product, including fitting, pipe, and tubes.
  • Routinely monitor stock levels and correct any inventory discrepancies.
  • May also complete job closures and input data into the inventory management system.
  • Serve as a backup to the Shipping and Receiving Coordinator, assisting with the transfer of materials for production use.
  • Notify managers or delegates of any observed deviations in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with production and purchasing teams to ensure timely availability of materials for production.
  • Generate and process invoices and purchase orders.
  • Coordinate with suppliers to track deliveries and resolve any issues related to order fulfillment.
  • Maintain organized and up-to-date records of inventory transactions, including receipts, issuances, and returns.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Intermediate proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • SAP, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook experience is preferred.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral, in a professional manner.
  • Highly organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to problem-solve and work within a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Forklift experience is preferred.
  • Understanding of inventory control principles and best practices is preferred.
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English) is required.
