Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Logistics Specialist to join our team at Palmer Logistics. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for processing customer orders, invoicing, and verifying rates per contractual warehouse agreement. You will also address customer complaints in a timely manner and escalate to management as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process customer orders in accordance with company and customer requirements ensuring accuracy.
  • Invoice and verify rates per contractual warehouse agreement.
  • Address customer complaints in a timely manner and escalate to management as needed.
  • Research discrepancies in inventory as needed.
  • Maintain a good relationship with customers via email and/or phone in a courteous, efficient manner.
  • Follow established company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with office and warehouse personnel to meet productivity goals.
  • Perform any additional functions as assigned by management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of customer service experience in logistics/3PL is a plus.
  • Flexible work schedule: must be able to come in early, stay late, and/or work weekends depending on operational needs.
  • Technical skills with ability to work in multiple warehouse management systems.
  • Detail-oriented and capable of performing basic math functions, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak the English language.
