Position: Maintenance Manager
Location: 701 W Hamburg St, Baltimore MD

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a staffing plan for the maintenance department.
- Collaborate with HR to interview, hire, and retain skilled staff.
- Maintain a documented work order system for tracking maintenance activities.
- Keep an updated inventory of machinery, production, and warehouse equipment.
- Oversee the Maximo warehouse management system.
- Work with management and other departments to plan preventive maintenance and schedule inspections.
- Consult with equipment manufacturers and internal resources to troubleshoot installation and operational issues.
- Review inspection and repair reports, monitoring the progress of major overhauls to assess efficiency and quality.
- Direct the repair of machinery and oversee electrical or plumbing systems.
- Prepare work schedules for maintenance and facilities teams to ensure efficient workflow.
- Analyze maintenance-related spreadsheets to identify abnormalities and opportunities for improvement.
- Ensure compliance with Process Safety Management (PSM) standards.
- Promote a safety culture in the warehouse, adhering to OSHA standards and other regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with leadership to meet food safety standards.
- Participate in third-party audits.
- Assist the Director of Operations in developing annual operating plans and managing budgets.
- Manage warehouse projects, including acquiring bids and scheduling contractors.
- Conduct departmental meetings to communicate team results and corporate initiatives.
- Complete personnel evaluations and reviews.
- Mentor and develop maintenance leadership within the team.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to develop and manage fixed labor, utility, and repair budgets.
- Experience in managing capital projects.
- Understanding of GFSI food safety standards and compliance.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Capability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently or as part of a team.
- Proficient in identifying mechanical equipment issues.
- Ability to develop solutions for a variety of moderate scope and complexity problems.
- Competence in reading and interpreting schematics and blueprints, including electrical and plumbing layouts.
- Ability to perceive auditory warning signals in a warehouse environment.
