About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to join our team at CGL Facility Management, LLC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and providing exceptional service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct supervision of maintenance employees, including hiring, firing, and performance management.
  • Determining the appropriate materials, equipment, and supplies to be used, as well as the effective use of equipment and personnel based on the scope of work to be completed.
  • Coordinating or installing, inspecting, repairing, and maintaining electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, boiler, and other related systems in all health department locations.
  • Overseeing the renovation of existing facilities and the construction of new facilities under the guidance of the Facility Manager.
  • Keeping client and CGL Facility Management informed of the progress and status of all open work orders, projects, staff attendance, and other activities to ensure adequate use of resources and timely completion of work orders in a cost-effective manner.
  • Preparing records, reports, and other documentation related to work performed and supervision of staff in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Responding to after-hours emergency calls from clients, with appropriate accommodations made for both time spent and associated costs incurred in response to after-hours situations.
  • Coordinating the completion of general repairs, such as painting, patching walls, security hardware, and hanging shelves.
  • Coordinating, inspecting, and overseeing the completion of major contract work on the electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and other related systems within assigned locations.
  • Completing all documentation required in compliance with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).
  • Updating inventories and other supplies as needed.
  • Completing all work per the standards of the contractual agreements with the client, as well as CGL standards for quality and accuracy, and all OSHA codes and regulations.
  • Completing, and ensuring direct reports complete, all required compliance, safety, and developmental training as assigned.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED Required
  • Advanced training or degree in building maintenance, and skilled trades or other related experience Preferred
  • 4-6 years experience in building maintenance and supervisory experience Required
  • 2 years previous experience managing others Preferred
  • Solid knowledge of the following trades/skills: electrical, HVAC, plumbing, carpentry, and general building maintenance
  • Ability to read blueprints and as-built drawings
  • Valid driver's license and insurance
  • Ability to perform work outside in all weather conditions and perform physical work, as well as to lift weights of up to 50 pounds regularly and above 50 pounds occasionally
  • Willing and able to work occasional on-call shifts
  • EPA & HVAC certification Preferred but not required
  • Ability to pass pre-employment drug test and criminal background check
  • Microsoft Office skills required
  • Self-motivated, team player who can multitask, and prioritize, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, particularly the ability to interact effectively with clients
Compensation

We are committed to offering competitive and equitable compensation. The hiring range for this position is generally $55,100.00 to $69,000.00, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This position is also eligible for a performance bonus. Final salaries will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, licenses, certifications, and/or experience.
