Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled System Verification and Validation Engineer to join our dynamic team. As an integral part of our organization, you'll play a crucial role in the Software Engineering section in the Engineering Department on the NASA JSC Engineering, Technology and Science II (JETS II) Contract.
Key Responsibilities- Develop test cases and test scripts for software verification efforts
- Integrate software from various vendors
- Develop tests for dynamic physical systems
- Perform data analysis and simulation
- Perform other duties as required
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or a closely related field and a minimum of two (2) years of experience
- Experience working as part of an Integrated Product Team to develop and test high criticality software
- Experience with highly autonomous systems
- Experience with web-based collaboration tools
- Proficiency with C/C++ coding in a Linux environment
- Experience with agile software development
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python
- Experience developing software across the full development life cycle
- Knowledge of the NASA Gateway Spacecraft systems and software
- Experience with the following web-based collaboration tools: JIRA, Confluence, Slack, SharePoint
- Experience with Git/GitLab version control
