NASA System Verification and Validation Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled System Verification and Validation Engineer to join our team at NASA Johnson Space Center in Houston, TX. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our systems.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop test cases and test scripts for software verification efforts
- Integrate software from various vendors
- Develop tests for dynamic physical systems
- Develop data analysis and simulation techniques
- Perform other duties as required
- Typically requires a bachelor's degree in Engineering and a minimum of 2- 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area
- Experience working as part of an Integrated Product Team to develop and test high criticality software
- Experience with highly autonomous systems
- Experience with web-based collaboration tools
- Proficiency with C/C++ coding in a Linux environment
- Experience with agile software development
- Should be a quick learner and self-motivated
- Excellent communication, negotiation and coordination skills and strong customer service attitude
- Proficiency with scripting languages such as Python
- Experience developing software across the full development life cycle
- Knowledge of the NASA Gateway Spacecraft systems and software
- Experience with the following web-based collaboration tools: JIRA, Confluence, Slack, SharePoint
