A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will work with Radiant Medical Staffing to partner with Skilled Nursing facilities. This role is responsible for the daily clinical care needs of the residents. The ideal candidate will provide primary nursing care to residents with varying backgrounds and medical histories, administer medications, wound care, and other treatment options as needed. The LPN will monitor and communicate changes of condition to the provider and implement and follow Primary Care Providers orders. The role also involves communicating needs of residents to outside providers, including Primary Care Providers, Home Health Agencies, Pharmacies, and family members. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of medical intervention and be able to provide care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
• Provide primary nursing care to residents with varying backgrounds and medical histories
• Administer medications, wound care, and other treatment options as needed
• Monitor and communicate changes of condition to the provider
• Implement and follow Primary Care Providers orders
• Communicate needs of residents to outside providers, including Primary Care Providers, Home Health Agencies, Pharmacies, and family members
• Provide medical intervention as needed for emergent needs
