Job Title: Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Rehab Float Pool Position

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Rehab Float Pool in Spokane, Washington. As an LPN in this role, you will provide care to patients across various rehabilitation units, adapting to different patient needs and environments.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in various rehabilitation units, including physical rehab, neuro rehab, and other specialized areas.
  • Perform patient assessments, monitor vital signs, and report changes in patient conditions to the RN or physician as appropriate.
  • Safely administer medications and treatments as prescribed, following established protocols and ensuring patient safety.
  • Work closely with RNs, physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated and comprehensive care.
  • Educate patients and their families about their rehabilitation plan, treatments, and self-care techniques to support recovery and independence.
  • Accurately document patient care, including assessments, interventions, and outcomes, in compliance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Adapt to different rehab units and patient populations, providing care where it is needed most within the float pool.
  • Offer emotional support to patients and their families, helping them navigate the challenges of rehabilitation and recovery.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited LPN program.
  • Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Washington.
  • Previous experience in a rehabilitation or similar healthcare setting is preferred.
  • BLS certification is required.
  • Strong clinical and assessment skills, excellent communication, flexibility to work in different units, and a commitment to patient-centered care.
