Your Responsibilities:


As the Account Manager, you will strategize, oversee, and implement daily operations that guarantee client satisfaction and ongoing project engagement for the benefit of both the client and the organization.

Your Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Managing daily client needs as the primary contact to ensure exceptional service delivery.
  • Building and nurturing strong client relationships through consistent communication and site visits.
  • Collaborating with clients to develop ongoing landscaping strategies that align with their vision and budgetary constraints.
  • Establishing project scopes and budgets that meet client expectations and internal financial requirements.
  • Coordinating project tasks and timelines with Operations to ensure precise, complete, and timely execution.
  • Supervising the Operations Manager and Chemical Manager in identifying client needs, providing service, and offering leadership support.
  • Conducting regular site assessments to evaluate project progress and quality standards.
  • Addressing client concerns promptly and professionally to ensure resolution.
  • Providing clients with regular updates on project milestones and future plans.
  • Reviewing and enforcing compliance with regulations and environmental standards.

Position Qualifications:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years in Account Management within the landscaping or service industry; experience in acquiring new clients is advantageous.
  • Certifications: Not applicable.
  • Skills: Strong planning, analytical, prioritization, and execution abilities. Quick to respond to client needs to retain and expand business. Excellent mathematical and problem-solving skills; adept at managing multiple clients and projects simultaneously with a keen attention to detail. Strong organizational and time management skills; capable of multitasking while maintaining high levels of accuracy and thoroughness.
  • Technology Proficiency: Advanced skills in technology; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experienced with CRM systems and databases.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; capable of presenting information effectively and interacting with all organizational levels.
  • Leadership Qualities: Strong customer focus and leadership capabilities, self-motivated, goal-oriented; a sense of urgency in delivering top-tier service; ability to collaborate and influence effectively; capacity to lead and mentor others; independent and team-oriented.

Additional Information:


Compensation: Estimated between $60,000 - $75,000 based on demonstrated expertise.

  • Compensation will increase as the business expands.

Reports To: General Manager


Core Working Hours: 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM


Typical Work Schedule: Monday to Friday; averaging 50 hours per week


Direct Reports: Operations Manager and Chemical Operations Manager


Travel Requirements: 60% travel to client locations as necessary, typically day travel with return home at night.


Work Environment: Primarily field-based visiting clients, with additional time spent in an office setting with moderate noise levels; suitable Personal Protective Equipment may be required during client visits.


COVID Protocol: No special protocols; individuals may wear masks if preferred.
