Job Summary

This role serves as the front line of the Retail Branch, performing both teller line duties and some platform duties. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform all duties typically designated to the teller role, including receiving deposits, processing withdrawals, and cashing checks.
  • Examine checks deposited and determine proper funds availability based on regulation requirements.
  • Process loan payments and balance the teller drawer daily.
  • Act as a Notary Public and follow all bank policies and procedures.
  • Open, close, and maintain all deposit products while cross-selling bank products and services based on customer needs.
  • Research and resolve customer problems, acting as the customer liaison between other bank departments when necessary.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED strongly preferred.
  • 6 months or more of banking experience strongly preferred.
  • Customer service experience preferred.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work in a team-oriented environment and have excellent communication skills.
