Business Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Developer to join our team at Trotter Workforce. As a Business Developer, you will be responsible for generating new client business for exterior maintenance services.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive sales and relationship development functions to grow our client base.
- Prospect profitable commercial opportunities in assigned markets, focusing on the Industrial, Institutional, Retail, and Class A office sectors.
- Build strong, long-lasting relationships with prospective and new clients through effective communication and relationship-building skills.
- Produce timely proposals using in-house estimating software and specifications and contract documentation for each project.
- Report to the sales team on budget vs actual sales and projections, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
- Attend weekly sales meetings and networking events, trade shows, and marketing events to stay connected with industry professionals and stay up-to-date on market trends.
- Support the Operations team with renewing contracts where needed, ensuring seamless client relationships.
- Prior experience in a sales environment with a proven track record of success, including sales of $1M or more.
- A hunter mentality and a go-getter attitude, with the ability to close contracts and drive sales growth.
- Superior professional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to maintain accurate reporting and attend in-person sales meetings.
- Highly motivated and excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- After 30 days, a company vehicle will be provided.
- A company-provided cell phone and laptop will be provided.
- Holiday pay and 10 PTO days (accrued).
