About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team at Vishay Intertechnology, Inc. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in driving business results, improving working relationships, and increasing productivity and employee engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with business leaders to oversee and execute key talent management processes, including workforce planning, talent acquisition, onboarding, talent development, promotions, change leadership, and organizational design and development.
  • Develop and lead the part-time HR assistant, providing clear expectations, strategy, defining key performance metrics, opportunities for growth and learning.
  • Take a hands-on approach with leaders to drive business results, improve working relationships, strengthen morale, and increase productivity and employee engagement.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, influencing business decisions and results.
  • Partner with key members of the HR team to analyze trends and metrics, informing meaningful program and policy decisions and creation.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
  • Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of associates, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to managers, including coaching, counseling, career development, and corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with other HR team members to manage projects or provide input on HR-related programs and practices.
  • Act as a neutral party, providing a balanced perspective for both employees and leaders.
  • Oversee and assist with day-to-day tactical execution, including recruiting, benefits, employee relations and engagement, health/safety, employee training, company events, and policy/procedure communication.
Requirements
  • BS or AA Degree in Human Resources or Business Management.
  • 3 years related experience in Human Resources.
  • Solid analytical and communication skills.
  • Proficient utilizing Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Experience working with HRIS systems (Workday) is beneficial.
  • Must have a positive attitude and be a team player.
