Job Title: Privileged Access Management Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Privileged Access Management Engineer to join our team at Moderna Therapeutics. As a key member of our cybersecurity team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our Privileged Access Management (PAM) program.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement a comprehensive PAM program to manage privileged access to sensitive systems and data
  • Configure and administer CyberArk, a leading PAM platform, to ensure secure access and management of privileged accounts
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks associated with privileged access
  • Develop and maintain documentation and training materials to ensure effective PAM program implementation and user adoption
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure our PAM program remains effective and secure
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in the technology field, with 4-6+ years working in the identity and access management domain
  • 3+ years of experience with CyberArk and Privileged Cloud technologies, including hands-on experience with account and safe management, CyberArk administration and configuration, management and troubleshooting of the various CyberArk Privileged Cloud components
  • Hands-on experience with DevOps and Agile methodologies, including implementation and administration of CyberArk's secret management technologies such as Credential Provider, Secrets Hub and Conjur (Cloud or Enterprise)
  • Strong understanding of virtualization and cloud platforms, with knowledge of AWS infrastructure and architecture
  • Knowledge of both Windows and Unix platforms, with programming (PowerShell, etc.) a plus
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with Privileged Access Management principles, best practices, and technologies
  • Familiarity with JIT, Least Privileged, and dynamic privilege concepts
  • Understanding of DevOps pipeline and CI/CD tools
  • Knowledge and understanding of APIs, specifically RESTful APIs, and familiarity with service-oriented architecture and web services integration
