About the Role:

Draper is seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Engineering Manager to join our team. As a key member of our product engineering and manufacturing support team, you will play a critical role in helping us turn cutting-edge designs into fielded hardware for our end customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop novel solutions to customer-driven problems, including ruggedized miniature electro-mechanical systems, systems for harsh environments, dynamic mechanisms, and autonomous systems.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify program/system-level technical risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Contribute to the development of best practices, suggesting alternative solutions, and resolving issues.
  • Help design the transition path from prototype design to the manufacturing stage.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or other relevant field.
  • Strong organization, planning, and time management skills to achieve program goals.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a government security clearance.
