At Great Wolf Lodge, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Housekeeping to lead our housekeeping team. As a key member of our resort's management team, you will be responsible for directing all aspects of housekeeping services and programming, including operations, planning, budgeting, staffing, and payroll.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement comprehensive plans to support organizational objectives, effectively allocating resources and time across groups or departments.
  • Manage the daily activities of the Housekeeping and Laundry department, ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of all public areas and guest rooms.
  • Supervise and train Laundry pack members, ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of the operation.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to coordinate resort activities and ensure seamless guest experiences.
  • Monitor and respond to guest comments, addressing any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develop and implement schedules for the housekeeping operation, managing staffing levels to maintain efficient operations.
  • Manage room expeditor software program (REX) to optimize inventory management.
  • Recruit, hire, train, and evaluate team member performance against standards.
  • Plan and implement staff training and development programs within the department.
  • Monitor quality assurance programs for the lodge.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Minimum 3 years experience supervising/managing large housekeeping department.
  • Minimum 5 years hotel or resort experience.
  • College Degree preferred.
