Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Experience in the manufacturing sector is preferred
  • Previous supervisory experience is advantageous
  • CPA certification or progress towards it is a plus
  • Verification of education and certifications will be conducted
  • Successful completion of a drug screening (including marijuana) and background check is required

Position Overview:

The Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for managing financial reporting, analysis, and budgeting for designated business units. This role requires strict adherence to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and plays a crucial part in achieving departmental and organizational objectives while embodying Envision's core values.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Execute monthly general ledger journal entries, financial analysis, and reporting
  • Ensure accuracy in the general ledger and prepare variance analyses against budget/recast
  • Compile, maintain, and distribute weekly reports related to sales forecasts, conversion expenditures, tooling supply usage, etc.
  • Prepare monthly forecasts, collaborate with plant leadership, and participate in monthly meetings with management
  • Generate and maintain reports on cost of goods sold, product profitability, standard costing, and inventory analysis
  • Manage process routings, work centers, locations, and part attributes in the ERP system
  • Input standard costs for inventory and supply items
  • Review monthly cycle counts and reconcile plant inventory; ensure participation during physical inventory audits
  • Assist in preparing annual budget files and other budget-related activities
  • Provide ERP system support for operational and inventory inquiries
  • Analyze plant financial statements to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for achieving financial targets
  • Support plant operations with metrics linked to financial performance
  • Oversee compliance reporting activities, including taxes, incentive programs, and surveys
  • Maintain general ledger controls and internal controls in compliance with GAAP and FAS
  • Act as a resource for plant and corporate staff, assisting with inquiries and problem resolution
  • Foster a positive work environment by promoting constructive relationships with colleagues, supervisors, customers, vendors, and others
