Position Overview

The Lead Financial Analyst will oversee financial management, analysis, and reporting, as well as budgeting for designated business sectors. This position necessitates compliance with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and plays a crucial role in achieving departmental and organizational objectives while embodying Core Operating Values.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Execute monthly general ledger journal entries, financial analysis, and reporting
  • Assess the general ledger for precision and conduct variance analysis against budget/recast
  • Compile, maintain, and circulate weekly spreadsheets related to sales projections, conversion expenditures, tooling supply usage, etc.
  • Formulate monthly forecasts, review with plant leadership, and participate in monthly management meetings
  • Generate and maintain reports on cost of goods sold, product profitability, standard costing, and inventory analysis
  • Oversee process routings, work centers, locations, and part attributes in the ERP system for production purposes
  • Input standard costs for inventory and supply items
  • Review monthly cycle counts and reconcile plant inventory; ensure presence during physical inventory audits
  • Prepare annual budget files and assist with other budget preparation tasks
  • Provide ERP system support for operational and inventory inquiries
  • Analyze plant financial statements to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for achieving financial goals
  • Support plant operations with metrics linked to financial performance
  • Manage compliance reporting activities, including taxes, incentive programs, and surveys
  • Monitor and uphold general ledger controls and internal controls in accordance with GAAP and FAS
  • Serve as a resource for plant and corporate personnel, offering assistance with inquiries and problem resolution
  • Foster a positive work atmosphere by encouraging productive relationships with colleagues, supervisors, customers, vendors, and others
