Job Description

Alvarez & Marsal is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director, Revenue Cycle to join our team. As a key member of our Healthcare Industry Group, you will be responsible for leading complex revenue cycle projects and providing expert guidance to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead revenue cycle projects, including due diligences, performance assessments, and enterprise performance improvement initiatives.
  • Develop and implement measurable solutions to improve revenue cycle operations, increase collections, and reduce Days Sales Outstanding (DSO).
  • Collaborate with clients to identify key operational performance drivers and develop strategies to address them.
  • Manage client engagements, deliverables, and workstreams, while mentoring junior staff.
  • Provide expert guidance on revenue cycle systems, operations, and regulations, including workflow redesign and system implementation.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in healthcare, consulting, or a related field, with a focus on revenue cycle.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills, with experience with Tableau, SQL, SPSS, Power BI, and Action O-I benchmarking a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of revenue cycle systems, operations, and regulations, including workflow redesign and system implementation.
  • Ability to identify key operational performance drivers and develop strategies to address them.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present information to all levels of client personnel.
