ABOUT OUR FACILITY:
At PetSmart, we believe that working here is more than just a job; it's a community united by a passion for pets. As a Pet Care Hotel Associate, your role will be to ensure that pets receive the utmost affection while they engage in play and stay with us. You will foster connections with pet owners to discuss their pets' distinct personalities and create a safe, enjoyable atmosphere during their stay. Our facilities offer various shifts throughout the early morning, daytime, and evening hours.
ABOUT OUR TEAM:
In a facility as expansive as ours, we require every hand (and paw) to ensure smooth operations. As a PetSmart associate, you may receive cross-training in the following areas:
- Customer Interaction: You will be the welcoming face that greets pets and makes a lasting first impression in our Pet Hotels. You'll guide pet owners on the various services and solutions we provide to tailor a unique experience for their pets.
- Animal Care: It’s not all work and no play here You will engage directly with the pets—playing with them during Doggie Day Camp, ensuring they receive adequate exercise, and keeping their bellies satisfied. Safety and cleanliness are our top priorities, and we maintain this focus throughout their day of fun.

- Gain experience across different business units—from the Pet Hotel to the retail store to the grooming salon.

- Transfer to any of our 1600 locations nationwide (note: not all locations feature Pet Hotels).

The wage range for this position in New York is $15.00 to $26.34 per hour, paid on an hourly basis. The exact pay rate will depend on location, position, and experience level. PetSmart will not pay less than the minimum wage for the location where you have applied. This position is also eligible for benefits as outlined.
