ABOUT OUR FACILITY:
At PetSmart, we believe that working here is more than just a job; it's a community united by a passion for pets. As a Pet Care Hotel Specialist, your role will be to ensure that pets receive the utmost affection while they enjoy their time with us. You will foster relationships with pet owners to discuss their pets' individual traits and provide a secure and enjoyable atmosphere during their stay. Our facilities offer various shifts throughout the early morning, daytime, and evening hours.
ABOUT OUR TEAM:
In a large establishment like ours, teamwork is essential to maintain smooth operations. As a PetSmart associate, you may receive training in the following areas:
- Customer Interaction: You will be the friendly face that welcomes pets and creates a positive first impression in our Pet Hotels. You will guide pet owners on the various services and options we provide to tailor a unique experience for their pets.
- Animal Care: It's not all work and no play here You will engage directly with the pets—playing with them during Doggie Day Camp, ensuring they get adequate exercise, and making sure they are well-fed. Safety and cleanliness are our top priorities, and we keep these in mind throughout their playtime.

- Transfer to any of our numerous locations nationwide (note: not all locations feature Pet Hotels).

The wage range for this position in New York is $15.00 to $26.34 per hour, paid hourly. The exact pay rate will depend on location, position, and experience level. PetSmart will not pay less than the minimum wage for the location of employment. This position is also eligible for benefits as described.
