DCS Corp is in search of a dedicated Facility Administrator who is eager to advance into the role of Facility Security Officer (FSO). This position is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and supporting our workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Facility Administrator, your duties will include:

  • Overseeing general office and facility operations.
  • Engaging with various external organizations related to government and industry.
  • Managing monthly office supply orders through corporate channels.
  • Maintaining a comprehensive log of office keys and access permissions.
  • Facilitating the onboarding of new employees and the offboarding of departing staff.
  • Coordinating routine facility tasks, including maintenance requests and visitor management.
  • Handling miscellaneous office purchases as needed.

As you transition into the FSO role within your first year, you will:

  • Conduct orientations and briefings for new hires.
  • Maintain security documentation in various formats.
  • Ensure compliance with security protocols for classified areas.
  • Process security clearance applications and updates.
  • Administer daily security operations for the facility.
  • Coordinate necessary fingerprinting and audits.
  • Support classified contracts to fulfill security requirements.
  • Prepare necessary documentation for courier services.
  • Conduct travel briefings and manage travel records.
  • Perform self-assessments of security practices and report findings.
  • Manage visit requests and classified meeting logistics.
  • Assist in the development of security training programs.
  • Respond to security inquiries and maintain communication with relevant parties.
  • Oversee document control processes in line with security regulations.
  • Provide guidance to employees regarding security-related concerns.
  • Monitor and address potential security threats.
  • Investigate and report security incidents as per established policies.
  • Prepare for periodic security reviews by oversight agencies.

Qualifications:

Due to the sensitive nature of this role, U.S. Citizenship is mandatory. Candidates should possess:

  • A minimum of a High School diploma and 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Eligibility for a U.S. Government background investigation and access to classified information.
  • A positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and a collaborative spirit.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities with meticulous attention to detail.
  • A customer-focused mindset and problem-solving aptitude.
  • A professional demeanor and self-starter mentality.

Preferred Skills:

Desirable qualifications include:

  • Knowledge of NISPOM regulations and industrial security practices.
  • Familiarity with DCSA protocols.
  • Completion of relevant training programs.
  • Experience with security management systems.
  • Understanding of risk management frameworks.
